Ferenc Koscso

Ferenc Koscsó is a highly experienced entrepreneur, innovator, and an esteemed master lecturer in media technology. He has over three decades of experience in the fields of cinema, television, VR, AR, media
and archiving software development, and project management.

Throughout his illustrious career, Ferenc Koscsó has been involved in many notable projects, including high-resolution audio recording (DSD/DXD) and the design and operation of virtual reality television studios, building AI-based automation solutions for broadcasters and government institutes.

He started his career as a mechanical engineering student and launched the first university television station in Miskolc that produced daily broadcasts. He then worked as the CTO of the first post-production studio in Hungary, where he honed his skills as a creative animator, cameraman, and editor.

Building on his post-production experience, Ferenc Koscsó established a system integrator company that focused on creativity and innovation-based system design and operation. As a teaching assistant, he co-founded the first international-standard Hungarian post-production and animation studio with the university and private investors, where he also worked as an editor and technical director.

Ferenc Koscsó has since been involved in the design of numerous newsroom and media archiving systems, as well as in the analysis of related workflows. As the representative of American company Avid in Hungary, he founded the first television system integrator company for IT -based television productions in the region. Since then he was the innovator and project manager of thousands of projects in broadcast, pro AV, government, music and installation industries.
